Zaika has served the people of Livingston with superb traditional Indian Cuisine for over 8 years and now at our stylish restaurant at 3 Follyburn Place, we look forward to serving a meal that you will remember.               True to the name, Zaika offers authentic flavours of the subcontinent with an emphasis on refined, creative and contemporary cuisine from the Awadhi traditions of Northern India. Awadhi is heavily influenced by the Mughal and Nawabi styles and offers preparations that are an indulgent mix of flavours and spices, creating gourmet spreads that may be described as nothing less than royal. Served in fitting ambience too. 

              Zaika first opened its doors to diners back and is one of the few Indian restaurants to hold two prestigious AA rosettes. It wasn’t until November of 2012, that Zaika joined the ranks of Tamarind Collection. And the reimagined Zaika is now ready to welcome guests with a menu that features all the usual favourites and some new ones. Under the able guidance of Head Chef Shoeb Haider, Zaika is all set to serve epicurean delights that are sure to satisfy even the most sophisticated of palates.

               Tamarind Collection owns and operates four restaurants in London and LA and division of Tamarind Events Catering. The group was established with the opening of our flagship restaurant, Tamarind in Mayfair, which was the first fine dining Indian restaurant in the world to receive a Michelin star. 

               The group also diversified into Tamarind Events and our successful outside catering operation has served high profile clients including Asia House, Grant Thornton. Tamarind Events are the preferred caterer at number of prestigious venues in the UK, including Lords Cricket Ground, English Heritage and the Science Museum.

               Over the years the Tamarind Collection’s fundamental philosophy has remained unchanged; to prepare exquisite food and that is coupled with service that is approachable and unobtrusive in stylish environments.

Samosa Chaat stuffed triangular pastries served with crisp salad and tangy chick peas.







Chicken Kerala chicken cooked with roasted coconut and blended into a rich sweet and sour sauce with creamed coconut,giving an excellent dish with universal appeal,cooked with green chillies.





Saffron Rice made with saffronwhite rice and also usually vegetable bouillon.

  1. I have never been in Zaika. I prefer meal takeaway online using ChefOnline from the chosen restaurants.
